My novelette The Placeholder is finally available at Amazon in paperback or ebook format (that Amazon link takes you right to the book). It’s been a long time coming; I’ve been working on it for probably about a year. It turned out writing it was the (sort of) easy part. There was so much I didn’t know about formatting a book for print. And then there was the ebook… On the positive side, now I know for next time!

The book is about a young man who’s down on his luck and ends up staying at an Eastern Orthodox monastery for reasons that will become apparent if you read the blurb (you can read the blurb here). There’s obviously a lot more to it, but you’ll need to read the book to find out the rest!
